    What! Cried Granny 

Wendy suggested  vocabulary preteaching (bed, pillow, blanket, Teddy Bear).

My concern is that preteaching might ruin the fun and surprise of the story. But the realia might add some spice to the story.

*Retelling:

Granny chop down the trees.

Granny collected the feathers.

Granny sheared off the wool.

Granny torn down the curtains.

*Props:

1. bed (picture card)

2. blanket

3. pillow

4. Teddy Bear

* Song "I Love You"

I love you.

You love me.

We're a happy family.

With a great big hug and a kiss from me to you.

Won't you say you love me too.

* 後記: 有了經驗加了道具(枕頭  棉被  泰迪熊)

今天的故事演說順利多了

小朋友非常樂意做角色扮演

所以當四個Patrick 輪流上台說了 "I don't have a bed/pillow/blanket/Teddy Bear."

台下的"阿嬤們"也很及時的回答"Whaaaaaat?"

算是非常稱職的小演員  哈

只是~~~ 故事最後   當阿嬤已經忙了一晚  製作床  枕頭  棉被  泰迪熊後

要Patrick 上床睡覺時

Patrick 說了    "But, Granny...."  "It's morning."

這時全班鴨靜無聲  ?????

只有Linda (中班老師) 笑了出來

原來呀    孩子不懂故事的幽默啊

還是得以中文再解釋一次

語言的隔閡  是吧?!

別洩氣啦　(我是說我自己)

畢竟   若能啟發孩子們對繪本故事的喜愛

在自然  輕鬆的情境下學習英文

那   不也是功德一件嗎?
