I went to library as scheduled 1 month ago. I did not go there to check out books. I went there as a volunteer storyteller. Yes, the first time ever! I admit that I was nervous sitting in front of the children and their parents. And worse, I was not sure what the two of the story books I randomly picked from the shelf were about. I was not going to embarrass myself in front of the children and parents, was I? Or to disappoint them? Fortunately, as I opened my lips, words spontaneouly flowed through. From score 1 to 10, I scored myself 8. Do little, make a difference. I have never thought that the one-hour-storytelling would actually bring joy to me. It's satisfying. One of the mothers even asked for my phone number. She might give me a call later and arrange for more storytelling lessons for her three daughters. Who knows
